The new Metaverse Experience „The Landmark of Design Excellence“ created for the iF Design Award stages all wining work 2024. Central to this artistic concept is the iconic iF Design Sculpture, which presents all 75 Gold Awards and acts as the centrepiece in the connection between the different levels of the experience. Most awards present work. This one turns it into a world. “The Landmark of Design Excellence” reimagines the iF Design Award as an immersive, explorable experience—moving it from stage to space. Instead of a linear presentation, all winning projects are placed inside a shared virtual environment. Users enter with an avatar, navigate through different disciplines, and discover the work at their own pace.

At the center sits a single anchor: the iconic iF sculpture—connecting all layers and showcasing the Gold winners as the core of the experience. What used to be a moment in time becomes a permanent place. Not just to view design—but to experience, explore, and connect. The project shifts the role of an award entirely: from ceremony to platform. from presentation to participation. from audience to community.

Because when design is no longer shown but experienced spatially – it stops being an event, and starts becoming a world.
