Alongside commissioned work, I’m constantly exploring images, materials, spaces and visual ideas without a fixed outcome. Some of these studies become part of projects, others simply help me test new directions, techniques and ways of creating images. For me, visual research is often where the real work begins: finding one image, atmosphere or idea strong enough to carry a larger narrative.
