Not all work starts with a brief. Some begins with pure drive or instinct. I am currently experimenting with a visual language that brings together drawing, photography, print and AI, allowing the different processes to collide. These off-project explorations often become projects in their own right. At the same time, they naturally flow back into commissioned work, – as textures, processes, visual ideas or a broader handwriting that connects personal and applied work. That is also why I often invite clients and collaborators into the studio to see these experiments while they are still evolving. Not as a formal presentation, but as a starting point for conversation, inspiration and exchange. Sometimes an experiment finds its way into an existing project. Sometimes it becomes the beginning of a completely new collaboration.
